Solarshield’s supply and install an extensive range of privacy, view control and decorative films which are designed to transform plain glass into translucent, opaque or totally obscure finishes. One way films are also available and are particularly popular where privacy is required without restricting views.

Lumisty view control films
Lumisty view control films are designed to control what can be seen and not seen, and are particularly suitable for applications where a particular area needs to be blocked out or hidden from sight but visibility is still required. The appearance of glass when applied with Lumisty view control film changes from translucent to transparent and vice versa according to the viewing angle. A selection of options are available providing privacy or visibility in a vertical or horizontal direction.
Typical applications: where there is a need to block unsightly views, where privacy is required from certain viewing angles, to eliminate the ‘fishbowl’ atmosphere of a glass conference room or work space, to draw attention to product or features in a display or retail space.

Privacy window films
Solarshield offer an extensive range of privacy and decorative films which are available in a range of finishes. As well as our standard range of etched and frosted films we have numerous patterned, coloured, opaque, translucent and transparent films.

Our range of privacy films allow glazed areas or glass panels to be transformed into translucent or opaque surfaces or totally obscured. They offer a cost-effective alternative to the need to completely replace existing glazing materials.

One way effect films are also very popular, giving a one way effect during the day and under the correct lighting levels these can also be combined with our anti-shatter, security films.

We offer a range of over 100 coloured solid and translucent vinyls. These translucent films are suitable for both interior and exterior applications.
